1962 dump valve hose connection

I have a 1962 Bambi with the old dump valve/hose connector. I would like to try to make a mold of the hose fitting with thermoform plastic and a pvc fitting to make an adapter to modern hose fittings. Rather than disassembling mine, I was wondering if any of you fine folks happen to have an old one that you would not mind parting with. It does not have to be functional - I just need the hose connection part intact. If I can create a reasonable model, I am hoping I could have it fabricated in pvc. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts.

I did a search on the forums, and did not see anything like my question - but I am sorry if this is a repost or in the wrong place. If someone out there has tried this, I would love to hear.

Thanks,
Toby

Either get the adaptor Richard suggested and silicone it to the current adaptor or cut the pipe and glue on a modern Valterra connector.

Citing does not work with my valve

My valve does not work with the Valterra/Thetford adaptor fitting. I have one of the old valves that does not have a modern hose fitting (valterra or Thetford). I think it is an ancient Thetford valve that they stopped using in the late 60s.

Thanks

3 decades or so ago on my '60 Overlander we had our old connector and valve removed. It was replaced with a new drain tube coming out of the tank, that tube running from the curb side (where the tank and drain were located) to the streetside and a new valve installed by the new outlet on the now-standard streetside. Being a longer trailer with limited clearance we had to install skid pads to keep from tearing the new plumbing off. Not the most elegant fix, but it is nice to now have the connection on the standard side!
