what is this spout for??

Here it goes

i have installed a new water heater in my 74 Argosy 24 after the second attempt the connections are tight

dont have the gas tested yet

i tested the water system and out of the back belly there are 2 spouts/ hoses sticking out.

out of the right hose there is water coming/pouring out
anyone have an idea what am i missing?????

on the picture it would be the left hose.......... sorry

Looks like the hot and cold drain spouts for winterizing. If so, there should be a valve inside near each one.

Could be a bad pressure release valve. That is what I had and I put a plug in the valve, since I could not get my fat hands inside to remove it.

can someone say DUH.......... how about closing the drain valves

i have a new and functioning water system new water heater , fixed a few holes in the water lines, and now have hot water.
well i have not checked the front water tank and pump yet

Thanks for the hint with the valves
