Water Pump 1973

Hello everyone! This is my first post. I'm a true rookie to all this stuff. Just purchased a 1973 31ft airstream. Learning as I go!

The airstream is not moving and never will. I'm living in it

As ai sit and chill out in silence, I hear a noise near the stove. Like a faint vacum. Could that be the water pump? How do you turn the water pump off to tell?

I'm not running any water and I'll be hooking up to my house this weekend. I don't need pump on if I'm running the city water. That's what I've been reading.

The only other thing it could be is the bater to the solar. Like I said, I'm new..

Thanks!

Welcome to Airforums.

It sounds like it may be your stove vent fan running.

Be aware that most everything runs off 12 volts except for your air conditioner, the fridge and the appliance receptacles. 120 v also powers the converter that keeps your batteries charged that operate everything else. The noise also could be the converter (battery charger).
