Water pressure problem

I just installed an Aquajet RV 5503 AV-15 water pump rated at 85 psi and 5.3 gallon/minute. The pump seems to work fine and there's no leaks but there's no where near 85 psi. Would there be a pressure regulator somewhere that I don't see or an adjustment I can make to the pump? Nothing in the manual about it. New airstream to me and the old pump was broken so I don't any comparison.
Thanks,
Dave

Check the strainers on all of your faucets, I bet they are plugged with fine particles of crud. There also may be a filter or screen in the water line, usually close to the pump somewhere that may be clogged.

You are unlikely to actually want 85-psi. That would be a test pressure, and RV systems are around 45-psi for constant use, IIRC. Check other threads on this subject.

I agree 85 might really cause problems, under 65 would be better. None of my AS have ever had the pressure one would expect to have in a house, jim

My home pressure is about 50ib

but the airstream is 1/2 of that. When connected to my home water an 6 ft stream will flow directly from the outside faucet, with the pump it's 3 ft. Screens are clean. I'll call aquajet.
thanks
Dave
