Water Fill neck & cap

I need a replacement water fill neck and cap. am replacing the water tank, water lines and pump. Have seen a few NOS parts but are too expensive. does anyone know of a after market part or of a way to retrofit something that will work?

I believe West Marine has a couple options that are chromed, and have nice little things like "WATER" or a little icon of waves stamped into the cap.

If your trailer is like our '71 tradewind, the water filler is plastic, and not a great design since it collects dust easily. Ours is yellow and in poor shape; a similar looking replacement is:

I'm still mulling over what I want to do w/ ours; any changes need to prevent accidental pressurization of the water tank, but a better closure than that silly pull out plastic tray would seem to be a good idea.
