Water Access Cover

Good Day,

I have a 2016 19' Flying Cloud. I'm upgrading the various exterior plastic covers and elements such as the range hood vent cover, Cable/Satellite connectors and the portable water access compartment.

The first two components were an easy switch out, but when we got to the portable water access cover/unit, I discovered there is literally no excess tubing (of the fill tub and air pressure tube) to pull out in order to change out the access unit to a stainless unit. Then, I thought attack it from inside via the access panel on the dinette seat, but where the tube connects to the water tank are well under the fixed seat panel.

Anyone every change the water fill access panel out? Any feedback is appreciated.

I need to fix that area on our AS as well. Did not see that anyone had replied to your request. I am not looking to put a stainless cover. The tube isn't properly connected to the cover and I can't get to it on the inside under the wardrobe closet. I think I can remove the four screws holding the panel in place, but not sure how the vent tube will be effected. I read in another thread someone made an access panel in the floor of the closet to get to that hose clap. Well, can't wait for an expert to helps out

Resurrecting an old thread

I just unscrewed the old cover and discovered there is only about 1/2"-3/4" clearance before the attached hoses bring you up short. Is there a trick to get a little more room to work with or should I resign myself to skinned knuckles and having to swear at the hoses until they submit?

Also, the next step is replacing the outside shower. Will I be facing the same challenges there?

I know I'm going to have to square off the holes and put in different screw holes, but any other tips would be appreciated!

I'm gonna be doing the same thing pretty soon, I will be very interested in this thread. I have a little access to the pressure water intake but none to the shower. I can see the water fill but that's it.
