Use of Teknor Apex Zero-G 1/2" x 50'

I have read that many are using the Teknor Apex Zero-G 1/2" x 50' for fresh water because of the ease of ...well not fighting a coiled hose trying to get it ready for storage.
This type of hose seems much easier to deal with. OKay I get that.
But...
When you hook it up and turn on the water doesn't the hose fill/stiffen itself to full pressure and become 50' of hose? Can you still keep it in a coil near your AS? When at full water pressure?

Just curious.

Yes, it stiffens up and won’t coil under pressure but so easy to handle when you’re getting ready for set up and packing up. I also use it for my yard, I got a 25 and a 50 footer lengths. Love them!

I just leave mine wrapped in my caddy. It will not expand straighten out. Best hose to have. Just unwrap what you need and good to go. Buy a hose caddy and wrap it in caddy.

Our hose is 25', (2 of 'em & 1 50'), if the connection is 10' away I just push the extra under the AS.🥴👍
