Repairing grey plastic water lines

I am replacing a toilet in a '89 excella 1000 and will have to modify/reroute the water line. Are there any connecting fittings (unions and/or 90 degree) I can use which don't require a crimping tool? The water line is original grey plastic. I have searched the forums to no avail. Also how can I determine the size of the line? Thanks.

There are probably some shark bite type connectors that will work. You can also do this. Dispite what many have said the polybutylene tubing is not that bad but some of the fittings used by Airstream tend to crack. Here is a little history.

Fittings:

Or this

We just repaired our old grey lines by using pex tubing and flaire-it fittings...worked great.

FLAIR-IT by THC

that's their site but we bought our flair-its from our local camper store and no tools are needed to install them, hand-tighten+.

Shark Bite (Home Depot and others) and Tiger Bite (Lowe's) will both work well with gray polly pipe.
