pump replacement

My 2003 28ft Classic has a squirting water pump. I'm not much of a handy man, but it doesn't look too tough to change. While I'm changing is there an upgrade to the RV aquajet 5.3gpm pump. Also what tool do I need to get the crimped water line off the pump?
thanks,
Dave
