Pump question

This is the first time we used our fresh water tank, and the pump every 10 min or so will come on and go off, is that normal or sign of a leak.

Hi

Sounds like you have a leak somewhere. It could be as simple as crud in the pump its self. The solution there might be just running it a bit more.

I don't know if it matters or not but I have been hookup up to city water for five days no with no sign of leak, just decided today to fill the tank and run the pump, like I said I do not know if that matters or not Mike

Had same here. Techs tightened up something or other at the pump that fixed it up... after I looked as best I could for leaks anywhere.

Hi

If it's cycling, it's putting out water *somewhere*. There are a lot of not so easy to spot places a leak could be happening. Best to get things figured out. You very much don't want the plywood in the floor getting wet all the time from a drip ... drip ... drip down a wall somewhere.
