I have a '74 Ambassador which just started draining water when connected to city water. The pressure relief valve is apparently sending some of the water out the drain. Is there an adjustment procedure for this? thanks, Jay

I agree that no adjustments can be made. Your pressure relief valve is probably designed to crack at 60 psi. The ones at most home improvement stores are usually rated for 90 psi.

Do you use an inline regulator? If not, you may want to try one before your swap it out....

Actually, after some studying of the situation, it only appears to be coming from the relief drain (I think). I checked out inside and the regulator is leaking just a bit, and the water is running down the outside of the drain tube, after saturating the floor under my twin bed. Looks like I will be replacing the regulator (and relief for s&g's)
