Plumbing replacement.

Hello everyone.
Relatively new to this, and I have been experiencing leaks in plumbing off/on in my 1965 Caravel.
We have replaced some areas, then another leak pops up. What we used to replace joint/fittings was Aqualock. I will include a pic of type of plumbing.
Essentially I am told and would be more comfortable than (what seems to be every 3 day a leak popping up) that I need to replace plumbing with PEX.
I am in Rockport Texas, and know there is an older Airstream restorer 2 hours away, but very busy. Another clinic may be able to help, but I'd prefer someone who knows older airstreams.
Any advise around this area or in general?
I'd like to get the job done sooner than later if at all possible, since I have no water source at the moment.
If I took it to a camper clinic I am wondering if that would suffice, even if they do not work on older Airstreams..?

There is nothing special about Airstream plumbing from other types of trailers, except for maybe being over engineered. I would think that any RV service area could do the job for you. You might even want to get quotes from a regular household plumber, if you can find one willing to work on a trailer.

Instead of chasing leaks just replace it all . PEX makes it a pretty easy job . Hardest part is getting into some of the spaces. Lots of You Tube on working with PEX. There are a number of ways of connecting it but I favor all 1/2" and Shark Bite or similar fittings. Home Depot or similar stores will have everything you need. Biggest thing on working with PEX is you need square cuts , so do yourself a favor and spring for a quality cutter for the PEX. To get the old stuff out , a close quarters tubing cutter is your best friend.

PEX is the way to go. I use chinch clamps instead of the "sharkbite" push to connect fittings, but either will work. Big box stores have all the materials you will need.

It is a job to gain access to the plumbing as it runs behind and under the cabinetry. The PEX plumbing I have done was when I had removed most of the cabinets. They needed rebuilt anyway.

There’s supposedly a couple of places around Houston which is not that far. Unfortunately, the most popular vintage Airstream shop is just SW of Ft. Worth. A&P Vintage Trailer Works in Paradise (Ann and Paul). But like Conifer David and 63air said, PEX is paramount. You really don’t need to be an airstream expert to repair/replace with PEX. Good luck
