Noise from water pressure regulator

Hello everybody,

On the road in my 86' Sovereign and we have just started getting a strange sort of moaning sound from the water pressure regulator when any of the faucets are open. No apparent leaks, water pressure okay.

Is this the "moan" of impending failure? Anyone else had this symptom?

Sounds like a restriction forming. It could last for years like that, so don't panic. Just put a few bucks in the kitty for whenever it may need replacement.

Thanks very much. I will sleep better. I can get at it pretty easily so I'll start collecting the parts and fittings as we move along.
