Hi all, just purchased a 1966 Overlander. If anyone could recommend a trustworthy RV mechanic in Georgia (Middle Georgia to be specific), we need to reinstall a fresh water tank and pump before we hit the road. Many thanks!

Welcome to America and to all things Airstream.
I have a 66 Tradewind and have replaced my tank, so here are some pointers:
Don't try to repair the old tank. It will just leak again and then you have another wet floor to clean up. Ask me how I know. The tank I got was a direct replacement and quite easy to install. I believe the inlet connection is in a different location, so you need some new flexible plastic line, 1.5" I think. Now you can't get this at Lowes or a hardware store. You need to go to a boating store.
Hi there. Sorry for the delay - finally have our trailer on the driveway after our trio to Florida. I hail from Kent (S.E.), and my husband from County Durham (N.E.) but we do have some good friends living in Sheffield (a suburb called Dore).
