Moen Choiceflow 9600 water filter

Our 2010 flying cloud has a Moen Choiceflow 9600 water filter under the sink and the faucet has a separate on/off handle for water from the filter. Since we run everything through an outside water filter I wonder if there is a cap/bypass that can replace the filter. 2 reasons......1. it would give me some extra space under the sink for kitchen stuff...and 2. when I winterize wouldn't the pink stuff fill up the water filter. Or... is there a bypass valve that would shut off city water flow to this filter? I didn't see one near the filter itself.

You can remove it and cap off the line. But you will lose the ability to filter the water that comes from your fresh water tank.

I only used the antifreeze once and decided it is too much trouble to add and then remove from the water system. I keep my trailer ready to roll year round and run the heater at 40 degrees in freezing weather do to 10 degrees without a problem.

Airstream recommends draining all the water out of your trailer for longer term storage. See the link below for detailed information.
