Missing water tank filler cap

I've done a stupid thing and lost the cap for the exterior filler neck for our fresh water tank.

Does anyone know where I can find a replacement?

I think I saw some on inland or vintage trailer supply web site. What year AS do you have?

A PO, previous owner, had installed a second water tank on our '66. An ugly sob plastic slide-out filler was the water source for it. I searched for a couple of years before I could find a matching (to our original AS ) filler. Finally one appeared on Ebay but was missing it's cap. A short time later I located a cap but not matching....but aluminum at RVdrgeorge.com in Sacramento. Again later I found that inlandrv.com has a matching cap but is pricey. Maybe later I'll buy that but for now one has to trot from one front end side to the other to see the difference.

When I got my 66 tradewind, it was missing the filler cap. The threads for the same size white PVC cap worked great. Painted it silver with spray paint, looked like it was orig. I my memory serves me (15+ years ago), the cap was for 1.5" pipe. Just measure the outside diameter and go to home depot or a good hardware store.
