LOUD Shurflo pump

I posted this question in another thread so apologies if this is where it belongs. I've almost never used the fresh water tank, tried it once when we bought the AS new 3 yrs ago. I fired it up last night and it literally sounds like jackhammer. Very loud too. I can't believe this is normal. It works and all but really, has anyone else encountered this? We have a '16 FC26RB. Maybe from lack of use? Any suggestions on a quieter replacement? Thanks..
