Fresh Water Tank Drain

I have a 1990 25' Excella. There's a water leak at bottom of the fresh water tank. I've cut away a portion of the metal covering it and it looks like there might be thread cap of some kind, similar to the top of a peanut butter jar. I assume it's a large drain? If so, does anyone have the specs for the cap?

Thanks very much!

Cheers,
John

A photo might help . . . for your 30-year-old trailer IMO.

I have a 1988 Excella 1000 and my drain plug measures 1.75" in diameter. It has a 3.4: recess in the plug to remove it and was leaking slowly. I removed the plug, couldn't locate a new on (no longer available) so I repaired the old one with Steelstik epoxy and plumbers tape. The plug had recess holes drilled in the inside top side of the plug that I filled with the epoxy because the old cap had hairline cracks in it probably due to water sitting in the recess holes and freezing during the winter even when the tank was drained
