Fresh water fill removal & replacement

I have a '97 classic 28 and the fresh water intake hose has a leak. I need to replace the hose. Is there any easy way to work on this? Have tried getting in through the closet floor, but the hose goes through the wheel well so that doesn't help. When trying to remove the outside fill box, it seems to be glued in with foam tape. What to do?

I believe it (Fill Box) was "sealed" with adhesive foam tape to prevent water leaks between outer and inner skins.. May even have a couple of rivets holding it in place.. There is no really easy fix.. You can try working behind or under other interior cabinets to get to space above wheel wells, but that might be worse. Removing fill box and planning to re-attach may be best alternative..

You might try using "Search" tab in blue bar above, and use terms like "water fill box repair" and see if others have had to solve problem ahead of you...

What I've done is remove the fill box. Really stuck on, but got it out. Thanks!
