Another Zero G user. I drain the hose and connect the ends at the end of the season. More importantly come spring I run a diluted bleach solution thru it, the same solution I fill my fresh water tank with and then run it thru all the plumbing.

We’re working on six years with our Zero-G. One of the best RV accessories we’ve ever bought. Weighs almost nothing, and you can just stuff it away in a small compartment with the ends screwed together.

I’m a roll it up, screw the ends together, amd throw it where it will fit. If it springs a leak I replace it. I’ve been at it over 60 years and caught nothing yet from my water hose.

All hoses get mold in them no matter what you do. The white ones are no different. Use a filter.

Hose Cleaning

Occasionally during the season and at season's end I sanitize the white water tank. I drain solution thru the supply hoses, hang them up on a 'hose tree' I made from a 10' PVC pipe and let air dry. I either screw ends together or attach caps.

I drain the hose while rolling up and place in interior storage compartment. I do not screw the ends together as I do not want to create a terrarium environment inside the hose. I filter and flush before using.

Originally, I used QuikLink, but they discontinued the angled fitting that's perfect on the Airstream. So I found Gorilla connectors, built like tank, but backwards to most mechanics, never leak.

The right angle connector might work, Since I have the angled, I just leave it on the trailer, it has a cap.

Not sure how problematic trace amounts of mold are to 99.99% of the population. Lots of mold in the world.

I doubt you're going to grow much mold on residual potable water.
