Argosy Plumbing

Our son has a 79 Argosy Minuet with plumbing problems. The plumbing has factory fittings on plastic pipe for the water. This is now creating problems with leaks at the fittings. We want to replumb the cold and hot water piping at the bathroom area. What is the easiest way to gain access to the plumbing at the rear of the trailer.

Thanks

Don, our plumbing runs around the inside of the rear wall, from the pressure valve around to 3 shut off valves. From there it goes to the bathroom sink, toilet, and shower. Galley sink shutoff valve is in a slightly different location. The easiest way to gain access is to remove the panels under the sink & toilet (one panel) and under the shower (separate panel).
If you have the "wet bath" (toilet in the shower) I can't give you an answer, as ours is separate.

My sink is on the right of the toilet (facing the toilet) at the rear of the camper. The sink is attached to the clothes closet which is in the streetside corner.

It's very hard to get to my water lines under the sink unless I remove the sink itself. There are screws everywhere, but it's just wood screws and after removing those unattach the water lines from the faucet and the sink housing and sink comes out. That's how my bath in my 1979 Minuet 7.3 meter (24') is laid out anyway.

Good luck.
