Sure yours is a Zip Dee?
The avitar you have shows a rig with the Colorado Carefree awning. A/S used the Carefree along with the Zip Dee for a number of years (Zip Dee is now used exclusively). The tell tale indicator is the two main arms at the ends. The Carefree has gently curving "C" channel arms, while the Zip Dee has a arm that is a telescoping tubular aluminum with a bend in the top section that hubs the shape of the A/S. As to what you bent, it is unclear. If you bent the portion that the awning fabric rolls onto, then you are going to have to replace it. Only the original aluminum roller design will work as plastic would not have the strength to withstand the forces that even a mild gust of wind can impart to the unfurled awning.
