Zip Dee New Key Pad With On/Off Switch

I have heard reports of Zip Dee awnings opening while the Airstream is in transit. I am installing the new Zip Dee key pad with an on/off switch.

There are four new wires that the new keypad requires be dealt with (see attached diagram). The four wires are:

1. a black wire that connects to the top port of the keypad and to the 12V powersource;

2. a red wire that connects to the middle port of the keypad and to the Zip Dee control board (see attached photo);

3. a second red wire that connects to the bottom port of the keypad and to the control board; and

4. a second black wire that connects to the 12V power source and the control panel

My questions are several:

a) where is the 12V power source? Is it accessed via the Zip Dee control pad? If yes, where on the control panel can it be accessed?

b) regarding wires #2 and #4, exactly where on the control pad do these two wires connect into?

Thanks for any assistance you can provide.

I would also like to add this pad. Did you purchase the new pad from Zip Dee and how much was it?

I did purchase the new pad from Zipdee. Don't have the receipt. Cost was reasonable.
