Zip Dee Awning Emergency Repair Kit

Turns out my awning had a bad circuit board which burned out my motor. I also did not receive the emergency repair kit when we bought our Airstream, so I had to buy a new one. It arrived but there are no instructions and I'm trying to figure out what's in the kit:

I know what the "jumper cables" are for but there are five other tools in the kit and I'm not sure what they are or how they are used.
  1. I believe the threaded bolt in the top left is the "winding tool" but the others are a mystery.
  2. I have two of the six-sided (hex) bar in second row as one of those came with the motor.
  3. The black thing in row three, which looks like an antenna, is made of a plastic material.
  4. The silver tool in row four is a flexible device which seems to be designed to turn something around a bend.
Can anyone educate me?

Thanks!

This is the winding tool

OK, I have confirmed that the bolt in the top left is the winding tool:

I have been wondering the same thing about these items. They came with my used 2019 27ft. I wish you would get an answer. Anyone? Hello?

The silver flex bar is attached to a drill and used to extend or retract the awning arms using a hex head located inside the bottom of each awning arm.

You already know what the bolt and cable are for. As for the rest, I am not sure myself.

I have had to manually raise and lower my not so RELAX awning numerous times, and only ever needed to use the cables and the flex bar. My trailer did not come with any of the other stuff you have.

how to purschase?

I have often thought what you would do 500 miles from home and the automatic awning won't retract... Where does one buy one of these kits? I looked on Airstream Supply Co and didn't find it...

UPDATE: Just called Zip Dee Inc and they sell it. The prior owner didn't leave me with the kit that shipped with the awning from Airstream. They are $106.00 for the kit. Interestingly when I asked about an instruction manual, they said it didn't come with one and they didn't want owners using the kit without talking to their tech support first. They did mention there is some limited trouble shooting in the owners manual?

Hope my circuit board doesn't die outside of cell phone coverage.

The plastic looking antenna thing is the tool for the motor limit switch Located under the plastic bib on the motor. The small end is used for the adjustment and is flexible to allow you to insert it into the unit.

Are you talking about the roller motor?

I did not get this information either. It seems that they do not want you to mess with this awning unless it is not retracting and then only after calling their help number.
