Sunbrella
4781 Splash-Spun Aquamarine/Natural
However, it has been added to the list of discontinued fabrics and is pretty hard to come by.

Since you asked...
Our awning is a mouldy blue color, or at least the visible part is. I am afriad to unroll it to find out for sure...

My 63 Overlander says it was made in Ohio but the awning may have been put on in LA where it was originally sold. They are avacodo green with a white strip. They have a bent pipe kind of arms. Our 77 Soveriegn came with a blue Zip Dee awning. The brown Zip Dee awnings are usually found on the limited model line.

Our '95 30' Classic Limited has all-around maroon, solid, that blends with the maroon exterior trim. She looks good when set up with all awnings extended We still aren't up to snuff setting up and letting down the 20' main awning, so unless we are having a long stay at one place, we avoid putting it up. Also, it seems that whenever we do set up the large awning, an immediate strong wind whips up. Go figure. Shame on us because it's so pretty when all displayed.

Zip-Dee Blue and White
....which reminds me...for those of you wondering what to use to clean your Zip-Dee's.I called the company to order some of their cleaning product..."Washout"...the gal on the phone let me know that they also recommend taking 1/4 C Clorox Bleach and a 1/4 C.Ivory Dish Soap or Flakes(must be Ivory)...mix in 1 Gallon of water....this supposedly is safe to use on the Zip-dee fabric and just as effective as the Washout.

Just a couple of things. I have found that my main Zip-Dee awning performs better in wind than any other brand of awing that I have owned. I used to be a conservative awing person prior to the purchase of my first Airstream. Now I don't hesitate to pop it open.
Secondly I find opening the Zip-Dee is also pretty easy other than dealing with those locking knobs and the pole. I find its quite a pain. I pretty much ended that hastle by buying a little 2 step aluminum blue topped ladder from Home Depot. It fits easily in the rear storage compartment and those two steps give me enough height to spin those wheels by hand. Makes take down and put a breeze.
Finally if you really are in some serious wind that bothers you, sometimes found in ocean front camping, pick up a spring loaded tie down strap. Its a long strap that goes over the top of your awing and terminates on each end into tie downs which are staked into the ground. Those tie downs have springs in them which allows a small amount of flex.

That sounds pretty neat. Obviously you run the strap length wise as sits the trailer.
Do you suppose it would be any improvement to have straps attached at the cover and running the other direction (away from the trailer).
Are we talking a flat strap (vinyl) or just a rope or cord?
Is this something that Zip Dee sells?

There are a couple of different concepts on tie downs. Some just take a rope from the corners of the awning to the ground. Others are like mine which is a big flat stap which goes over the top of the awning from end to end. The large strap provides pressure over the length of the awning which I think is better than just holding down the corners.
Here is a link to one similar to mine. I've had this strap for almost 15 years. Haven't used it on the Zip-Dee yet due to the fact that it performs so well in the wind. I probably would use it as a safety if I did any ocean front camping.
Tie down straps
I bought these from Camping World. I don't know if Zip-Dee sells anything like this.

Way to go Hitnmiss for reviving a 2yr+ old thread! My main awning is the blue and white stripe and the street side awning is the brown and orange. The awning that should extend over the rear bath window is missing. Has anyone seen it. I like the blue/white color combo and would like to replace the brown/orange but it is in very good condition. Anyone interested in trading?

Blue and white striped on my '81 Excella. I was just looking at the zipdee sight because I want to replace them (same color, better stitching...).
