Solutions for thread going bad?

2006. Fabric good but thread holding fabric panels together is going bad. Aside from taking awning to an upholstery shop, can any other fix work?
How about the tent "seam sealers" I've seen advertised?
As always, thx in advance.

Seam sealers are just that....sealers, not adhesives. I would get some braided fishing line and a large leather needle and restitch.

I have found that the braided line lasts a very long time, even in direct sun...and it is incredibly strong.

I haven't been doing this forum business very long, but I've already seen several threads go bad. Seriously, I would take mine to a place that can resew them rather than try to glue them.
