Unhappy Ripped my Awning ...

Well I feel like an idiot .... went to put the awning down and wound up putting a small 1 to 2 inch gash in it where the center brace is located.

Called the ZipDee folks this morning and they were nice enough to send me a fabric patch at no charge. Great service!

They said just to apply it to the awning over the rip with clear silicon sealant. Has anyone ever tried this? Does it really hold?

Hi, Porky!

I'd be kind of dubious as well, but it's been my experience that ZipDee knows their stuff. If they say it's the way to do it, it probably is!
