Question Other Awning Company?

Singing from all threads is ZIP-a-DEE-do-dah!

I'm wondering if anyone has tried any of the other automatic awnings such as Aleko or even a mod to Sun Setter?

I know it's not traditional but I'm looking for innovative.. and not not deplete all my funds on an umbrella. I have 120v and 12v available.

I have a 73 Safari 23 footer if anyone is selling an awning! I could definitely settle for manual.

What are you planning to do with the foot or two of awning that sticks out from the trailer when it's retracted on the other models you mention? They are all straight, and would not retract against the side of a curved Airstream.

Sun-setter only makes awnings for strait side not for Curve like AS. They would work on box trailers but basically made for stick & brick structures.

I had an A&E awning on my 1976 Airstream. I was very pleased with it and it worked well. You could check and see if Carefree makes the curved arms. I would also check on A&E as they are owned by Domeetic now.
