Newbee awning help

Just got our first airstream, a 1983 excella 31 cb. I am not new to campers and awnings but I can't figure this one out. First, I have no idea who made it, no tags or labels. Second, when I got it to open ( pull strap broken ) I found several Poles attached to the main tube and metal ribs running the length of it.
Can anyone tell me who made it and how it is supposed to set up.

Thanks for the help. I know I will have lots more questions as we get into it

Jon

Pics?

Photos would be very helpful here.
If the arms are straight it may be a CareFree.
If the arms are curved it is most likely a Zip Dee.

Looks like a zipdee someone "repaired, improved" themselves. Maybe someone with more zipdee knowledge will chime in.
