Mystery Awning

I just salvaged an approximately 16' awning of a 70's (?) Argosy. The hardware is aluminum with cast endcaps embosed with a "F" on one and a "B" on the other. It also has 2 struts which mount part way up the coach wall. I would like to identify the manufacturer and if roller parts are still available. I am considering putting it on my Trade Wind or Sovereign, but I am not sure it is worth messing with. At a minimum I need new fabric. I can send photos if you think you can help.

Thanks,
Marshall in New Mexico

Marshall.

If it's a Zip Dee the F & R mean front and rear castings.

How about a photo?

Response to Andy's reply

Thanks Andy,

It's an "F" and "B" not "F" and "R" and they are on the cast end caps on the main support arms. That could be "front" and "back" and would correspond to the position of the arms, especially since the letters do not appear to be disigned to be easily seen to a casual observer. I don't see "Zip Dee" anywhere. Carefree told me it might be their "Classic" model and parts are no longer available.

The problem with the awning is the return springs in the roller do not seem to engage, and of course I need new fabric.

Unfortuneately the photos are in TIF format which is not supported by the forum. I will try to send to you privately.
