Lower awning mouning points

We have a Carefree awning on our '73 Safari. Both arms are slightly twisted back and are pulling the lower mounting points and the trailer's trim away from the body. The aft one has screws added by a previous owner to help secure it, the forward one has the 2 originals screws. What are the lower points screwed into? I looks like the body trim lines up with the floor, so maybe the screws go into the edge of the plywood? thanks

Yes lag bolts go into edge of plywood floor, once started pulling loose bad news. I also tried larger lag bolts no go, then epoxied wood dowels in my AS. First time out one end pulled loose again. There are two fixes that I no of. one remove inner skin reinforce side wall above floor, move arms up to reinforcement point, or go zip-dee awning as fastens into uprite rib about 1/2? up from floor then prob fixed. Maybe some one has ideas dif. from my fix. My son has toy hauler, did reinforcement job, has never pulled loose since.
