How do we attach a sun shade?
Just came home with our new 27 flying cloud. Did not realize there was no track or rail on the awning tube to mount our sun shade. Any suggestions beyond clothes pins?

Get a grommet kit and at grommets to the awning fabric valence.

The ZipDee uses snaps attached with rivets to the awning roller.

Sure would like to see, if possible, close-up photos to how you have attached the screen to the valence.
Thanks

I dont believe it attaches to the valance. You install snaps directly to the awning roller tube, riveted through the material to the tube. The shade comes with the other side of the snap already installed. So you can locate the shade where ever you choose along the length of the roller tube. Thats my understanding from the research Ive looked at. (Zip Dee method).

I also have the tropic room. I used the standard ZD mounting points when I made sun shade.

This show detailed instillation instructions for the snaps and their shade. I used a sun blocker shade from Harbor Fraight and attached the appropriate snaps.
