I know I can replace the awning itself but was wondering bout misc. hardware
I am not absolutely certain, but believe that your awning was made by A & E. During the 1960s and 1970s, A & E actively supplied awnings for Airstreams. A & E is still around, and is a part of Dometic. If your awning does turn out to be an A & E product, I suspect that you will find the same thing that I learned about my A & E Travel Awn 5000 - - the roller tube and fabric is still available, but the arms themsleves as well as related hardware is no longer available. I spent nearly the cost of a new ZipDee awning in trying to restore the Tavel Awn 5000 on my Overlander to operation - - finally gave up and purchased a set of ZipDees for the Overlander. You can contact A & E through their website at:
Dometic/ A & E RV Awnings
E-Mailing customer support was how I learned more about my Travel-Awn 5000 - - if you E-Mail A & E, you will at least be able to learn whether your awing is/was one of their products.
Good luck with your investigation!
