Dometic part for awning

my top mount bracket broke in half, dometic says the part isn't available, can you weld aluminum brackets?????

You can, but Aluminum isn't easy to weld by yourself unless you have done it before... You could take it somewhere, Or maybe Andy at inland rv has the replacement...

I just bought an obsolete bracket for my A?E awning from a dealer in columbus ohio. I will try to get there name. Great bunch of folks they are.

awning repair

thank all you guys for your information for a bracket for an a & e bracket. we just dropped off the part at a welding shop...let you know how it works.

for me ... welding was a waste. The metal isnt Alluminum as we know it. At least not in my case.

Just last week, I got a part for my Dometic awning from these folks:

Dometic A & E Awnings, Accessories & Parts

The delivery was fast and the price was right. They might have parts for yours also, if the welding fix doesn't work ...
