Care free has spring w/end cap assembly that will work, but new units fit over arm not plugged in as old does also they are a tad larger on sides than arms because arms are sq. not rounded on sides, but no big deal and come mill finish, and white that I no of. They are not exp. and if one broke the other will before long. I replaced both several yrs. ago. Any rv dealer that sells carefree may have in stock or can order, also may be able to order direct from carefree, just make sure tube is same dia. out side, inside no prob. There is prev thread on this matter that I posted same info. and helped several people w/this prob. Carefree uses spring both ends not just one end.
