Awning stabilizer straps

We are fairly new to airstream and we have been traveling for several weeks now. I was wondering about the awning of our 2019 Flying cloud. We can hardy feel comfortable using it, even in light started to retract, with very light wind. Are there stabilizer straps that can help provide stability in light wind? We know not to leave the awning out unattended. The parks where we are staying, most people have theirs out without issue. Iím i not putting enough tension on the out rod?

Probably not. If you see another streamer ask for help. No problem with ours.

Sounds like you are not locking the rafter arm (the piece that swings up) in place. Once that arm is locked, I do not see how a manual FC awning could retract. If you don't lock the rafter arm, it will retract to the length of the unextended rafter arm.
