Awning Fell... off !

Yes my awning fell off.. the rivets seem to have failed, 300 yards from my driveway. im sure 3 days of 40-60 mph winds PLUS has not helped,, talk is we've been having a cat II or cat III land huricane. The castings at both ends are broken. the bottom arms are 2/3rd torn from the trailer and bent. Advice? Buy bigger rivets, new ends, patch the holes and go to town? Also,,, only one end of the awning seems to have spring tenson, is this normal ?thanks - joe,

Is it a Zip-Dee? If yes I would reach out the the company directly for replacement parts.

It's hard to give you advice without seeing the damage.

Zip-Dee awnings are only tensioned on one arm.

Was it the long curbside awning? A pic or two would help.
