Awning Color Ideas?
We are in the market for a new curbside and rear awning from Zip Dee. I see they have many colors to choose from ie: "Sunbrella" fabrics.
Anyone purchase an awning recently?
What color did you choose, post pics of your colors!

We put Pacific Blue Fancy (Item#: 4755-0000) on one and something similar to Cooper Navy (Item#: 4987-0000) the other.
Let us know what you go with.

IIRC, Pacific Blue Fancy is no longer available

It sure is/was a popular choice. We would hate not being able to get it as a replacement when our current threads go bare. A version of it is still shown on the Sunbrella website.

We chose a non-traditional fabric. Spa Wheat Vintage.
It was the only ZipDee Sunbrella fabric we could find which had a teal blue to match our 60's vintage interior colors.

Just replaced all of mine on the 345. If you think you like a color picked from their web site, insist that a sample of the fabric is sent to you first. Believe me their is a no return policy if the color does not match the web color! We went with Aspen. It's like being in the woods all the time.

Directly from Zip Dee, as of this morning, Pacific Blue Fancy HAS NOT been discontinued.
Pacific Blue Fancy is color # 4755.
The similair color that has in fact been discontinued is # 4805, which is close, but not the same.

A picture sure is worth a thousand words!
The two colors we narrowed down to are Spa Wheat Vintage and Ginza Onyx.
Of course these are "custom colors" and are 10% more in price.
I just called Zip Dee, yes, prices go up October 1st 2010. She would not say how much but at the end of the conversation it leaked out and it does make or break our decision to buy now. By a few hundred buckaroos!
I will post pics on this thread after the install!

The Spa wheat color is standard. The Ginza Onyx, is a special color.

I just got a vintage awning from Marti's Awnings and I went with Ashford Forest and I LOVE IT!! Great classy vintage look w/o being over the top. Of course everyone has differing tastes, but for me this was perfect - it even matches my camping world mat perfectly.
