I hope you post pics of your trailer with red tanks, awning arms & trim. What are you doing on the inside?

Will you be towing with the 55/56 Ford(is that a crown Vic?) ?

The inside is about done except for a couple of changes I am planning.

Good eye on the old car, it is a Ford product, a 55 Lincoln.

I thought the 31' trailer is a bit too much for the old girl, but when I find the right smaller trailer....

Interior pics

Your interior looks great, what type of wood did you use on your walls and how did you secure it to the walls. I am currently rennovating a 1972 31' Sovereign. Your woodwork design is something I have been looking for.

It is all off the shelf 1/4" plywood. The side walls are full 4x8 sheets that are butted at the top so when the sheet is pushed in at the floor it bends into place and stays in place without the need of screws.

The stringers that cover the seams are screwed in between the agendant sheet.

The walls go in quick and easy, the end caps take a little more time.

By the way. The wood goes in over the interior aluminum sheathing.

Wait! So you can easily pop the walls out for water leak chasing, electrical work, insulation work, tightening door hinges, etc, etc? BRILLIANT!

How about painting the coupler, frame, and rear bumper red, too?

Now that you have a good start, why not finish it up right?

Wheels... how about red wheel? You have your red numbers on top, right?.

I think you have really started something here.

BTW, I love the interior.

Any chance of posting more pictures of this interior? Also more input on what materials you used? I've been looking for one of the 80 something Avions to do a totally different look...
Thanks,
Larry C

Are Painted Awning Arms Sacrilege?

Thank you, I am pretty proud (probably too proud ) of how it came out, and it is warm and relaxing to stay in, I can hardly wait till my next trip!

I thought about carrying the wood theme outside, but my wife,,,, well it is her trailer...
