Winter was hard on 1st year's shine

After a winter of skiing/camping, the 200 hours of polishing last summer needs a touch up. The salt from the winter roads has made a mess of the lower half of the trailer. Any suggestions about which grit I will need to start with? I'm hoping to not have to go back to grey bar.

I would start with the least aggressive bar....say red or pink , or even white . If it doesn't work you can always go more aggressive. If its not bad perhaps you can just cyclo with s?

winter damage

Thanks for your quick reply. That's kinda what I was thinking. Would you remove the trim like we did last year before polishing?

Just FYI, I was working on a new panel today and just the cyclo with nuvite c or s didn't do it. I compounded with the white rouge, then used the cyclo with s and it's very close to the mirror finish I'm getting on the older panels.

If it's easy to remove the trim, I would. My insides still out so I'm removing almost everything and will buck them back on when I finish. If removing your trim means replacing buck rivets with olympics then I would work around it.
