Will this buff out?

While stripping the clear finish off of our 1992 excella, I started to clean the blue decal off as well because it was flaking badly and was giving the trailer a trashy look.
While working on a particularly difficult spot of adhesive behind the decal I grabbed a green scotch brite pad. Not a good decision at all!
I now have a small 1 ft by 6 in square that is scratched by the pad.
Question: will this buff out with a cyclo buffer and nuvite polish?
Thanks for any advice!
Wayne

It will buff out using ever finer sandpaper and polish. Maybe not with only nuvite, but it will buff out.
