When is a Cyclo not a Cyclo?
I bought this when I was up in NY around Xmas
Made in 1955 (How cool is that? A 55 to polish my 55!)
Did anyone know these existed?
What is the history on this, anyone know?

55 Panhead is way cooler than 55 Harley, owend a 54 pan nothing sounds like a panhead.. I know a guy that lives about 5 hrs from you who is looking for a 55 pan would you sell?

Nice Find Richard!
I have several old Craftsman tools that I have aquired over the years. From what I can gather Sears purchased the rights to rebadge name brand tools as Craftsman. A lot of the were electrics like you have there. I would be willing to bet that it was made by the clyclo company and re badged. Kind of like the difference between a Dodge and a Chrysler

I can just make out your foot clutch on the handle, Cyclo polishers Co, started making them in the fifty,s and still are today which I am sure you know. the thread about craftsman with tag on cyclo is more than likely 100 percent correct. new cyclo polisher sell's for 239.00 and up what did you give. check this site out you can get what you need to make it a polishing machiene.. http://www.topoftheline.com/index.html
