What can I use to preserve the polished Aluminum?

I am about to take delivery of a 68 Airstream that was professionally polished with Nuvite two years ago. It has lived in a dry desert climate and will now be spending it's time near the Pacific Ocean. It will be stored in a semi-sealed enclosure away from fog and mists but will still see some salt air influence.

My question to the group is.... What if anything can be applied to the surface to help maintain the bright finish?

Also the answer to, "Hey that vintage (Airstream/Cessna/P-51) looks GREAT in mirror-polished aluminum. Why doesn't every owner do that?

Goin nuts trying to polish my '61 AS and have been told by other streamers that nothing should be put over finished job or it'll be that much harder to polish next time.....and there will be a next time, unfortunately. ;-( Will that recommended wax by CRH really help delay the 'next' time and prolong the sheen?
