Under Vinyl stripe, white stain removal?

Hey guys,

I've stripped all the clear coat and blue vinyl off my 34' Excella (93) to do a mirror shine. All the glue and blue vinyl are gone but there remains this white stain that has absolutely no texture difference to do the raw aluminum.

think I should just F9 it out or is this a better way. Somebody told me Oven Cleaner but that didn't do it.

Give me a shout if you have a definite answer. Looking forward to meeting you guys are on the road soon!

Hey Braun,
Did you ever get this white etch removed? I have the same issue after removing the blue vinyl on my 78 Sovereign, funny that the red stripe didn't leave anything.

Thanks
Dustin

Braun, I am fighting the same thing on my '79 Tradewind that I started stripping a week ago. It's impervious to stripper. Almost like the skin is etched under it. On the one hand, it doesn't matter because I am putting down new tape. But I think it will buff out with some light-cut Nuvite, so I am going to try that.
