The dos and don't Am lost?

We're fixing to start striping our camper with the Napier 220.Some on the post said not to polish some say do.So do we or not? are plan was to
1#Strip everything off even old vulken off (using 220) min-sprint
2#Replace old vulken with new and Parr bond for smaller lines
3#Polish with something we still not sure what still reading post

Any comment would be helpful

I'd suggest a slightly different order.

1. Strip the clearcoat
2. Compound with nuvite C. On tough spots use F7, then go back over with C
3. Seal with vullkem and parabond as needed
4. Cyclo with C, then S
5. Wax with NuFinish


Polishing is more of an art than science. You need to experiement and try different techniques and tools and polish grades to be successful.

The main idea is to go slow and use a small amount of polishing compound. Go slower than you think and use less polish then you think.

Where did you get the Napier 220? Having a hard time finding it, or ICI Hydrostrip.

I also had a time looking for it no one around here sell anything for Air Streams.Had to get just about everything from on line dealers
