Someone to Polish around Dallas?

I am currently trying to find a place to have my airstream polished in the DFW area. I would probably tackle this job myself, but I have no place to do this project since I have to store my Airstream. I have not had much luck finding a place to do it.

If you have any suggestions, I would appreciate the info. I wouldn't even mind taking it to Austin, Houston, or OKC.

Thanks for the help.

North Dallas RV in Carollton (DFW) has a polisher on site. Their phone number is 972-242-0404. They don't sell AS but are an official service center.

Do you know what kind of prices they charge for their services?
I have also been looking at some of the airplane service centers in the area, but have not had much luck.

polishers?

I have not been into this for very long, but I ran into a guy who said he had his AS (looked to be about 25') polished for about $600 at a truck place that polishes truck trailers, milk haulers, I suppose. Might be worth checking out. Of course here in the Amarillo area (aka "justa huge truckstop") a place to get your truck polished may be an easy find.
cheers, bill b.

That sounds great, but how would I look something like that up? Would I look under truck and trailer service?

As I recall, NTRV charges 150. a linear foot for polishing. According to Randy at NTRV you are looking at 8 hours a day for about two weeks to properly bring it up to their shine. They do an awesome job. Remember, after that, even with cover and perfect treatment, you are looking at doing this (although I think to a lesser degree) every two years. I have had an idea of creating a a polishing crew in this area where we gather and work on polishing each other's trailers as a team. It would take some real commitment though - and money. A cyclo polisher runs about 275. I think. Recently back from Bastrop where there is a collection of Airstreams for sale at a lot called the "Crazy Cajun" if memory serves. They had a sold 1969 Safari just like ours and someone had tried to polish it and really botched it. There are a lot of ways to mess one up, and only a few ways to get it right if you are doing it yourself.
I am willing to be first to commit to idea of a "polishing crew" if others are interested.
