S.o.s. !!!!!!

Well, we are not lost souls, but wandering ; isn't that the axiom to live by. We certainly seem to.

Any Hoo. SOS pads for corrosion control, followed by F9, & however you like to go, then Sheila Shine to protect. Has anyone used this stuff ( SOS, or Sheila ?) I find varsol or mineral spirits also seems to work nicely with extra fine Bull Dog Steel wool....

She's a comin' along, and with the frame, bellypan, wiring , insulation ( foil back, aluminum taped to studs.. complete ( and polish to stage 2), we'll be heading for parts unknown, well, northern BC next week !!!!

A rolling tent another Argosy ( new '68 TW owner ) tells me, well that's fine by us. We'll have the Fantastic vent and porch light hooked up for the trip.

Look foreward to seeing some other wanderers out there too. 4 weeks of it !!!

Thanks for all your help so far along the way. What a trip. 14 months since she rolled into our driveway.

I used sos pads before they worked well for the most part. Did create some heavier scratches that took more time to get out later but maybe I needed a better medium cut. One thing to note it is not a wise idea to use steel wool on aluminum steel particles can ruin aluminum in future. I'm sure someone will explain shortly

Look into bronze wool, available from nautical stores. It doesn't contain iron particles so it won't leave rust weeps. Comes in various coarseness too.
