Just got done using this stuff on my 16CCD and am not thrilled. For one thing, it does a poor job of bringing off the bugs and tar left after a heavy washing; a good wax normally does this with some effort. Next, I was told this was a mild abrasive, and should work on some marks on the side of the TT made while moving against some small branches. These are light marks that should not be a problem. Permaguard had no effect on them. Lastly and most importantly, this stuff made a holy mess out of my front protector panels. They are streaked and kind of brownish. I wonder if these are some other metal than aluminum? At any rate they look TERRIBLE, and of course are one of the first things you see on the trailer. I'm not sure what to do now, maybe some metal polish?
I was told this is the thing to use for clearcoat finishes. I would not recommend this stuff to anyone. BTW, yes, I shook the bottle and applied correctly.
The front protector panels are stainless steel, not aluminum. Don't use wax on them. Just clean them with a stainless steel cleaner; no waxing is required.

Hmm, I just finished cleaning and polishing my rock guards today with Blue Magic and they gleam! Hope they don't fall off and dissolve overnight because I used the wrong thing on them--oops!
