Painting the exterior panels for stove and hot water heater!

Our trailer has been polished so now we are doing some work to complete a fresh look. These 2 exterior panels need repainting. Do you have to use paint made for heat?

Pictures would be good. If the outside is polished, am assuming the skin is more of a mat finish versus the mirror finish of 2024T3. There are silver paints in a rattle can that go up in heat protection. I would look at the auto supply places that sell high heat paints for manifolds and mufflers. I know Auto Zone has Dupli-Color that has a great matching Ford silver, but only goes up to 200 degrees. I guess it comes down to how hot it gets, what color you want, and if the color is exposed. Can you paint the inside of the cover with a 1200 degree high heat BBQ paint and polish the outside? Good luck, Bubba
