I've just finished polishing my '65 Tradewind using the Nuvite products. You will be pleased with your results. A trick I learned late in the process is to use an electric finishing pad sander with T-shirt material to do the final "S" grade polish. This will help remove any swirls left by the larger buffer. Takes a while but the tool is much lighter! It's looking like my next polish project is going to be a '56 Overlander. I'm wondering if they used the same grade of aluminum in the '50s as the '60s. From your photos, the polish seems to work about the same.
Darol - are you talking about a palm sander (I have a rectangular Mikata that I have in mind)? Do you use just one layer of t-shirt material, or do you double it up?
This might be the ticket for me out of getting a cyclo!

It's looking good. I started this winter working on mine when we had pretty days. Only made it around the trailer up to the windows so far, but spring is comming!
